FNH Audio presents an Unabridged reading of "The Damned" by Algernon Blackwood.
A brother and sister are invited to stay at "The Towers", an ancient residence owned by a friend. When they arrive, they find their friend in a state of distress.
Something is wrong; something in "The Towers" feels wrong. Strange sounds, whispery apparitions and doors opening themselves lead the siblings to conclude that there is something other than themselves and the servants abroad in the house.
